In these nexts paragraphs I will be telling you what it means to be in the Adventure Stem Program. First off STEM stands for (S)cience (T)echnology (E)ngineering and (M)athmatics. I am making this E-portfolio for students and adults so they can have a good middle school experience.

 

      In adventure its kind of diffrent from a regular middle school. In adventure you are not learning from a text book to much it is mainly hands on and you do a lot of projects thats how they like to teach instead of in the book like other classrooms. In our projects its usually on the computer or you are building something.

   

  In adventure another thing that is different is that you go on more field trips than other middle schools.

For example this year we went on a trip to great america and learned about the force on the ride and the different spots on a ride that have more and less force.

 

      In adventure you have to learn to work with partners because you are always in groups with people even if you don't like them. To be an adventure student you must know how to work with all age groups. In adventure you learn good working and social skills. You also get to work with younger age groups sometimes like 5th,6th,7th graders.

 

      In conclusion to be an adventure student you must learn to work with all ages and do your projects. You must know how to use a computer because you do about 80 percent of your work on computer. To be an adventure student you are always working in groups. This is why i like adventure and that is what it means to be in adventure.
